How does this work?

The Commission Process

Custom pet portraits are a collaborative journey. Here is how we will work together to bring your vision to life.

1. Contact Me ✉️

Reach out to start the conversation! Let me know your preferred painting size and a little bit about the pet you’d like me to paint by using the “Let’s Get Started” button.

2. Send Photos📸

High-quality reference images are the key to a great portrait. Please provide:

One Main Photo: This should clearly show your pet’s face and expression, with the pose and framing you’d like for the painting.
Additional Photos: Please share a few extra images (close-ups and full-body shots if possible) to help capture details and proportions.
Lighting: Natural light works best. Photos taken outdoors or near a window help capture true colors and details, which translate beautifully in watercolor.

Pet Portrait Photo Tips

Use natural light near a window or outdoors.
Get eye-level with your pet.
Make sure the eyes are clear and in focus.
Choose a simple background.

No worries if your photos aren’t perfect — I’ll work with what you have to capture your pet beautifully. 🐾

3. Deposit💳

To secure your spot on my calendar and begin the painting process, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Click 'Let's Get Started' to see pricing options and begin your request. Shipping costs are included in the prices shown (for U.S. delivery only)

4.Planning✏️

Once I have your photos, we’ll discuss your vision. I will create a rough sketch for your approval to ensure the composition is exactly what you’re looking for.

5. Painting🖌️

The magic happens here! I will send you periodic progress updates so you can see your portrait come to life.

6. Completion✨

Once finished, you will receive a photo of the finished piece. After final approval and payment, your custom painting will be ready for its new home!
